Bruce Sallan
A Dad's Point-of-View

About the Author

Bruce Sallan was an award-winning television executive and producer for 25 years. His first book, A Dad’s Point-of-View: We ARE Half the Equation is available at BruceSallan.com, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers.

When his boys were quite young, Bruce left show biz to become a full-time Dad. Shortly thereafter his marriage ended and his wife abandoned their children, leaving the state. Bruce found himself a full-time single Dad, in his forties, as well as a returning single man to the changed world of cyber-dating. It became a classic “sandwich” situation when he also began to care for his ailing parents.

He began writing various blogs on the dating sites he used, as well as articles for local publications. A Dad’s Point-of-View, grew from his life experiences and is primarily focused on parenting and other issues from the male perspective.

Presently, the A Dad's Point-of-View column is available in over 100 newspapers and websites in the U.S. and internationally. Bruce began his radio show -- The Bruce Sallan Show: A Dad's Point-of-View -- in May, 2010 and it now is carried on the PWRN (Positive World Radio Network) and three AM radio stations in three states (KZSB AM1290 in Santa Barbara, CA, NewsTalk 1420 WHK in Cleveland, Ohio and Madison 1670 WTDY in Madison, Wisconsin), with others being added regularly. Bruce lives in Calabasas, California with his second (and last) wife, two boys, who are 17 and 14, and three dogs.
