Shh! Dirty Little Sex Secrets
Wait, you've got Gono-what?!?!?!

Oh, the HeadDrama!

Listen, I understand that you may not want to tell your partner all of your dirty little secrets, but when it comes to health you HAVE to speak up!

Playboy Magazine and Harris Interactive just released the results of an online sex survey of more than 2,000 adults. It asks the types of questions you might expect to see. Like, Have you been photographed nude? Or, Have you ever sent a sext message? I must admit, many of you are dirty little freaks!

Check out these highlights:

Among all respondents:

  • 27% of men and 23% of women have been photographed or filmed nude

  • 16% of adults have "sexted" someone on their phone with an explicit message or photo.

  • 33% of men and 23% of women who have used a dating site have done so while already in a relationship.

  • 48% of men and 32% of women have slept with a co-worker, 7% of men and 8% of women have slept with a boss.

  • 73% of women but only 43% of men know the first and last name of everyone they've slept with.

  • 17% of men and 15% of women have answered the phone during sex.

  • 16% of men and 46% of women have faked an orgasm.

The real surprise to me, though, is the number of people out there who keep STDs a secret from their partners. It's also amazing the number of people who don't even try to protect themselves!

Among respondents who've had intercourse:

  • 24% of men and 13% of women who have had an STD did not inform their partner(s) after being diagnosed.

  • 24% of men and 20% of women don't worry about protection against STDs or "hope for the best."

What's the deal here? Are people just too scared to say something? Do they think that once they've been treated it's no big deal? Do they just "forget" in the heat of the moment? Whatever the reason, it's just plain wrong. And for those of you just "hoping for the best", snap out of it!  According to this survey, there's a huge chance your partner won't tell you about his/her disease so it's up to you to protect yourself!

You can see the full results from the survey in Playboy's June issue, on newsstands now, or on the Playboy Magazine website (if you dare click!).
